Detecting Russian UAV's with the TinySA Ultra

UAV detection and countermeasures play an important role in ensuring the safety of the Ukrainian Armed Forces' advanced units, as well as artillery assets, equipment, and warehouses. In fact, UAV detection is a function of SIGINT (radio electronic reconnaissance), and UAV countermeasures are a function of EW (electronic warfare). Due to the lack of special military SIGINT/EW systems, soldiers must master the use of small-scale individual-use means.

Due to the lack of available portable industrial drone detectors, Ukrainians produce homemade devices (drone detectors) that are based on the spectrum analyser "tinySA Ultra" or "SA6". The spectrum analyser "tinySA Ultra" has a special adapted firmware "REP UAV" for convenient and understandable use.
