This methodological manual addresses a significant challenge faced by platoon-company level units and assault unit fighters during the "special military operation": the detection and suppression of small unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs), particularly those manufactured by DJI.

The current strategies, including the use of small arms fire as recommended by the Russian Ministry of Defence, have resulted in unnecessary casualties among personnel. Moreover, the existing electronic warfare equipment has proven ineffective against commercial drones, which often operate on frequencies such as 1700 MHz for control and 2400 MHz and 5800 MHz for audio and video transmission.
